Located in the suburban Upland Road neighborhood of Newton, this Dutch Colonial home is currently being expanded and finished by Metropolitan Building Systems. This family home of Paul and Liz, required changes to the floor plan of the first floor to include the envisioned family room, mud room and 1/2 bathroom as well as an expanded kitchen. A new bedroom and walk in closet and dressing area will be featured on the second floor.
All the existing doors and windows will be replaced, as will the roof. These changes to the existing floor plan called for modifications of the second floor hallway and an existing bedroom as well as alterations to one section of the first floor.
“Liz is very organized in her research and with her decisions. Both Paul and Liz have a great grasp on this project and are communicating perfectly what they’re looking for. I’m anxious to see the final product of this project.” – Paul Wilkes
