Pleasant Street, Newton

This is the story of Peter and Ann, who found themselves in want of re-envisioning their outdated space after their children left for college and life turned to Metropolitan Building Systems to update their Newton home by adding a rear second story and do something with an extremely small kitchen. Located in the suburban Pleasant Street neighborhood of Newton, Peter and Ann quickly realized the costs associated with adding an additional story to their home, and at the recommendation of Metro’s team, down-scaled the project to focus on an elegant redesign of the original structure with an enlarged kitchen, custom built-ins and stunning custom mill work. Read more about Metro’s evolution of the project and the experience of homeowner’s just like yourself below.
